Andrew K. Martingale
Andrew Martingale is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice and Municipal Law Groups. Since joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Martingale has provided counsel to the firm’s municipal clients, including libraries and school districts, in matters involving municipal, education and employment law, among other areas, as general, labor, and litigation counsel. His litigation experience includes representation in state and federal courts, as well as administrative forums including the State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, disciplinary tribunals, appeals before the Commissioner of Education, as well as the Office of State Review. He was selected to Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars for the New York Metro Region as a Top Rated Employment & Labor Attorney (2017). Mr. Martingale is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association Commercial Division Committee.
While in law school, Mr. Martingale served as a Senior Editor on the Albany Law Review and won the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials competition in 2011. He served as an Associate Law Clerk for the late Honorable Roger J. Miner, United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, where he was exposed to a wide variety of complex cases and legal issues.
