Meghan P. Tuma, a Huntington, NY, resident, has recently been hired as an associate of Hamburger, Maxson, Yaffe & McNally, LLP concentrating her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, municipal and Landlord/Tenant Law.
Ms. Tuma comes highly qualified with honors degrees from both Albany Law School and Boston College. While attending Albany Law School, Ms. Tuma worked as a Law Clerk at the Albany law frm of O’Connell & Aronowitz where she researched case law and drafted memoranda and arguments in support of senior attorneys. She also worked at the Albany Law Clinic and Justice Center at the Health Law Clinic researching issues in healthcare and representing lower income individuals trying to navigate the justice system. During law school, Ms. Tuma was a teaching assistant for both Contracts and Federal Civil Procedure. She also served as Associate Editor on the Albany Law Review, as well as Vice President of the Health Law Society.
